Lesli-Ann Powell, Owner/Creative Director
From the moment she cut out a multidimensional toucan - freehand, using only safety scissors - everyone knew Lesli-Ann was destined for artistic greatness! Beginning with that first construction paper menagerie, Lesli-Ann pursued her love of art and design throughout the years both through a course of study in studio art at American University as well as through exploration in photography, crafting, knitting, architecture, and interior design before finally alighting on her true passion - designing personalized pieces of art for others to share with the world! What began as a few rubber stamps and some embossing ink in a shoebox is now a full service design studio, where Lesli-Ann's love of art and passion for design are fully realized and put to work making your event as unique and special as you!
Little Birdie (as Lesli-Ann is known to chirp chirp chirp to her little heart's content...) has been creating unique and handcrafted cards, invitations, and announcements for more than 10 years. She holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration and Studio Art from American University in Washington, DC and a Masters in Business Administration from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.
